ESDEER UPDATE:

2010 – the start of a new decade.  The start of this year in particular seems a good time to begin afresh, to turf out the stuff – be it physical, mental or emotional stuff. The dross that we seem to build up in our lives that has not been working, and probably never will, and set a positive new  direction for the coming year. A time to focus on where we are headed this year and where we want to be on December 31^st 2010. If you look at a yearly event calender, it is filling up -  the Fifa World Cup, Olympics, Solar and Lunar Eclipses and the International Year of Biodiversity.  Lets look at our own human biodiversity – our differences, our uniqueness and set our own special paths for the coming year and the decade.

My trajectory for the coming year will be my focused into three key areas – Esdeer, Personal and Financial.

As far as Esdeer is concerned, in January 2010 we enter our 4^th month of operation and continue to grow and develop. Setting up and owning a business has been a huge learning curve for me, so Esdeer is constantly evolving and growing as I learn more and want to try out new things.

The purpose of Esdeer is really two-fold

1)    To provide a wide range of gifts suitable for many different occasions

2)    To provide grief support tools and gifts for those who have lost a child

I am currently in the process of developing some grief support materials. These will be available free to grief support subscribers. This is an exciting development for me and if in some small way, my experiences can help just one other person, then that will be a special thing to achieve.

NEW ARRIVALS AT ESDEER:

 

This month I am delighted to showcase the beautiful hand made products by Laikonik.

The Laikonik ‘Once a Year Book’ chronicles a child’s first 18 years. Handmade in Australia, these special hard bound concertina books are beautifully  presented and come in a felt bag. Each book has space for 18 photos on one side, and 18 personal entries on the other charting the wonderful growing up of a child, from babe to adulthood. It really is a wonderful way to tell a childs special story as well as creating a precious keepsake. Also included are: tips to get started, and a chatter book to record first words, phrases etc.  Available as a bird or elephant, in red or white.

 

 

To accompany the Once a Year Books, we also have gorgeous little cards to match the book design.

 

Also from Laikonik are hard cover concertina photograms – a great way to display photos or send to relatives. Space included for a hand written note and comes complete with brown paper printed mailing wrapper.
